Project Cure Workday

July 2022

On Saturday, July 9th, some of the HTMA-MW Membership met at the Hunt MidWest complex and successfully created our 2nd Project Cure WorkDay and included our Families as well.  We've been developing our partnership with Project Cure for some time and have now initiated our commitment to this very worthy cause.  A HUGE Shout Out goes to Kevin & Sheila Johnson, Kevin Hashman, Dennis Hansbrough, Don, Veronica and Logan Faith, Niko Dunlap and Tim Cordes.  We met to sort, clean, test and prepare much needed equipment for P.C.'s Mission work.

We were met by Isabelle Woodrum, Director of Operations, who lined out the most critical equipment needs and using the P.C. checklists, we began evaluating and testing infant bed systems, portable suction units and began sorting and assessing multiple pallets of donated equipment.  Our next Workday (TBD) will need to focus on Imaging equipment as there is quite a number of ultrasound and c-arms that need evaluating.  Isabelle has got a ultrasound phantom ordered but it is currently on back order.

Our "shop" at the PC warehouse is always needing any type of used test equipment and supplies particularly a defib/pacemaker analyzer and ESU tester.  Any good cables or general shop supplies (nut & bolt box) that can be donated would help.  If your upgrading test equipment and can donate, it would go a long way to completing our commitment to Project Cure.
