March Association Meeting Presented by NVRT Labs & LifeSpark Medical
Nice turnout & great presentation from Matthew Bassuk of NVRT Labs! Thank you to LifeSpark Medical for providing the pizza for all our guests. Some folks got to demo the oculus in the NVRT Labs world. This technology is likely the future of training & education in our field. January Association Meeting Presented by Mindray
Thanks again to Mark Pickerel and the folks at Mindray for sponsoring another association meeting. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate but thank you to everyone that came out despite the conditions. The presentation was great, and we gave out two $50 visa gift cards! We provided several folks with a CEU certificate for attending.
December Association Meeting Presented by Infusystem
Thank you to Todd Nilges and the folks at Infusystem for sponsoring our annual HTMA Midwest Board elections meeting! We elected 9 board members including Chris Hawkins, Robin Faut, Todd Kraus, Josh Moffett, John Carson, Jeremy Weaver, Tommy Creal and Paul Wessler with Cliff Allen remaining as Treasurer. We also approved a By-laws update in addition to a discussion around the HTMA Midwest's plans for 2024 & beyond. We raffled off two $50 gift cards to our two lucky winners!
November Association Meeting Presented by USOC

The University of Kansas Health System's risk management team discussed the legal issues surrounding safety incidents involving medical devices. They spoke about risk management and documentation issues within the HTM field. This presentation is a must for BMETs in the HTM field!

September Association Meeting Presented by Adepto Medical
We had a wonderful meeting in September, 47 HTM professionals attended and took part in a presentation given by Ben Kuchar of Presscott’s Inc. on surgical microscopes. Adepto Medical generously provided dinner for all the guests from Jack Stack BBQ! Project C.U.R.E. also spoke to the attendees about the wonderful work they do for under privileged communities around the world! The HTMA Midwest raffled off two $50 gift cards provided by the HTMA MW, a $50 gift card donated by TC Biomedical Apparel as well as two $100 gift cards from Adepto Medical in addition to boxes & boxes of prizes generously provided by Adepto Medical! Thank you to our great presenters, wonderful sponsors & all our awesome HTM professionals!
